About VivahRank

VivahRank is a weekly leaderboard of wedding vendors in Pune, India. Photographers, makeup artists, and (soon) decorators and caterers compete for ranked placement on a public board that resets every Sunday at midnight Indian Standard Time.

Ranking is determined entirely by the amount a vendor pays for placement in a given week. This is a paid advertising service, comparable to sponsored placement on any advertising platform — it is not an editorial ranking, not a review-based ranking, and not a claim about vendor quality.

The product exists because Indian wedding vendors think in Saturdays. A photographer who is "#1 in Pune this weekend" has something worth WhatsApping to a family group; an evergreen directory listing does not. We've built the board around that rhythm.
